Early in our careers, we kept struggling with interpersonal dynamics in groups and teams that got in the way of getting work done and drained motivation.

We noticed that similar things would happen in different situations and identified recurring patterns.

Between us we've spent over 50 years searching for it

We felt that there just had to be a better way, so we researched and studied for many years, in many different methods and traditions, to develop expertise in interpersonal and relational practices.

Experience the shift from experiencing groups as a collection of individuals; to an interconnected system functioning as a whole.

2. Redefine Feedback

Transform the conventional practice of feedback as personal/ critical/ uncomfortable; to being seen as useful data to improve how the system functions.

3. Stay in Connection Across Differences

Rather than differences being a source of conflict and division, build the capacity to stay in connection with other people, even when differences are present; in service of the greater whole.

4. Give & Receive Feedback Across Differences

Once people have the capacity to stay in connection across differences, feedback that would otherwise have been too uncomfortable and difficult becomes possible.

5. Utilise Differences for Collective Intelligence

The wisdom of the whole is able to emerge when people are able to stay in connection and express their differences, so that greater and more complete perspectives can be understood.

How the program works

Online Components

  • To make the most of the live trainings, all content which can be taught online is provided in pre-recorded videos & other materials.

  • Instructions for actions/activities to do in between sessions are also provided to help the learning stick.

Live Group Trainings

  • Most (not all) weeks include live online group sessions to practice what is being taught in the context of a real group.

  • Along with opportunities for personal reflection and questions.

I co-founded Matrix Leadership in 1990. For over 30 years, I have been facilitating groups and trainings. I consider myself a social artist, and I work as a trainer, facilitator, and consultant.

In addition to my work with groups, I also offer team, executive, and life coaching to individuals, partnerships, and teams. I was a trainer for the Hakomi Institute of Body-Centred Psychotherapy for 15 years, and I was an owner/practitioner in Wellspring, Partners in Health (a holistic medical clinic) for 15 years.
